I have Norton AntiVirus 2005, and I am trying to install it on vista, but says
"This product requires Windows 98, windows Me, and windows XP. setup will quit."
I'v contact Symantic, and they said it can only work on those OS listed Above. Is there anyway I can make Norton Antivirus 2005 work on Vista?

Installing Norton AntiVirus
Not that version of Norton. At least not until Norton adapts it for Vista, but that will probably never happen with a 2 year old anti virus.

They are working on vista version, but you will probably have to buy it again.

Symantec have a beta version in development that should be available soon.
If you register as a beta tester, you might get a copy to evaluate with this system.
I'm still waiting for the invitation.

Only Norton product I'd ever install is Symantec AV Corp. Norton has completely bloated and ruined NIS, Norton AV, and Ghost (soon as they dumped the ghost engine for DriveImage in Ghost9 the problem complaints multiplied tenfold).

No. There is no way this will work. Sorry.
Avast is a free antivirus program that I've used on x86 Vista. Might give that a try.

Trend's PC cillin beta will work with vista. Give that a hook if you'd like as well.

Versions of Norton as of right now are not compatible with Vista
